The Abdul Mateen Support Initiative (AMSI) is a community-driven non-profit organization established in honor of Abdul Mateen, a young child living with Cerebral Palsy. Founded by Alhassan Shei, AMSI is dedicated to empowering children with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities, especially those from low-income and underserved families. AMSI was created out of a personal journey—one marked by resilience, love, and the struggle to access quality medical care, therapy, and support for Abdul Mateen.
