[Bimbilla] Man Met His Untimely Death After Spotting A Calabash Clouded With Cowries

A letter dated on Thursday, January 6 2022 addressed to the Office of the Bimbilla Municipal Chief Executive by Nantogmah Aliu Wumpini, a Journalist has got a series mysterious revelations.

The Journalist wrote a formal letter on his Facebook Page notifying some health hazards that might befall the Yepalsi Electoral Area in Bimbilla, should they no be a swift intervention from stakeholders.

Residents within that area have resorted to dumping huge piles of waste at a designated dumping site. The refuse dump is located 20 metres backwards the Bimbilla Post Office but closely connected to some two commercial food sellers along that stretch.

Speaking to the Assembly man via Phone Call on Saturday February 5 2022, revealed that, he has over the past few months provided a waste bin for this Electoral Area.

"After I struggled in getting them the waste bin, they still resorted to dumping their garbages on the floor. To a larger extend, they even tried burning the container since blazing fires were been poured unto it. Upon all this attitude of theirs, I still lobbied in getting a different plot of land for the garbage disposal but was been denied by the youth," Alhaji Alhassan Ibrahim aka Kibos recounted.

However, sources directly linked to the site narrates that, the two acres of land had over the past years created some scuffle between a gentleman & a woman. The contention arose after the gentleman was said to have been commanded by a woman to demolish his four thatched rooms constructed on the site. The woman who claimed ownership of the land was said to have issued some death threats to the man even after filling that matter in court.

The man was said to have complied but met his untimely death shortly after he spotted a calabash clouded with cowries together with some weird enchanted sacrifices.

Owing to this & many more issues best known to the Assemblyman, he has chosen to withdrew himself in addressing that issue but calls for a unifying force from community members in tackling that canker.
