Following the latest updates on COVID-19 by the president of the Republic of Ghana 🇬ðŸ‡, where he kept ban on social gatherings until further notice, the acting president of the Nanung Traditional Council and the Overload of Nanung also cautioned his followers in the Kingdom to adhere to all protocols to prevent the disease spread.
He Stated;
"The COVID-19 second wave is more deadly and spread faster than the first one. Medical experts says it’s rate of spread is more than twice the first wave and has absolutely NO respect for age unlike the first one which was more common among the elderly. As the world and Ghana still battles to finding a lasting solution to the virus, I encourage the citizens of Ghana, most especially the citizens of my kingdom to as a matter of urgency continue to adhere to all the safety protocols i.e washing of hands with soap under running water, wearing of mask and constant use of medically approved hand sanitizers.
We must also avoid overcrowded places and stay home when you don’t have anything doing outside.
On our side, we will continue to commune with the gods and pray day and night for the world to defeat this. This too shall pass.
On behalf of the people of the Nanung Kingdom, I wish each and everyone well in this trying times of the world.
His Royal Highness Nyelinbolgu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana
