Information reaching Nanung Media indicates that, MMDCEs selection committee recommends Mr. Issifu Zakaria popular known as "Over" for nomination as DCE for Nanumba South District.
Mr. Yussif Zakaria is said to have demonstrated considerable knowledge of local government issues when he appeared before the committee. He also has a good understanding of the grassroots dynamics of the party and how to tackle them.
His drive and commitment to the party were unaffected when he was not chosen as the DCE in 2017. He was a member of the 2020 general elections campaign team. Mr. Yussif has served as the constituency secretary.
In 2013, he stepped down as Secretary in the interest of peace.
He holds M.A in Communication Studies and BA in Management
