Water is a very useful mineral component that helps in temperature regulation & maintaining bodily functions. Since 70% of our planet is always covered by water, it is very easy for people to think that it will forever be available in large quantities.
Surprisingly enough, the bemoaning conduct of Kukuo Assembly Member with regards to water crisis dawned on Nanung Media like a bombshell.
Issah Abdul Aziz aka Hajj Blue, accordingly recounts that, Kukuo residents perpetually travel in several kilometers to Oti river before having access to water. Along that journey, there have been several challenges of snake bites & scorpions. Adding that, he sometimes had to use his pocket money to order water tankers all the way from Bimbilla to their crippling community.
Kukuo is a small community located off Bimbilla near Oti river in the Northern part of Ghana. It is one of those communities where banished 'witches' take refuge.
Meanwhile, all these hungry but poverty stricken emaciated mothers wrongly accused & deprived off their personal freedoms passed through this ordeal. So sad!!!!
The Assembly man humbly appeal to the government & other philanthropic organizations to come to their aid in addressing this menace.
