The good people of Nakpayili today, 3rd May, 2022 celebrated Eid, ul Fitr.
The excitement at the Prayer ground doubled up after they were surprisingly joined by the Member of Parliament For the Wulensi Constituency, Hon. Abukari Dawuni in Eid prayers for the first time .
The Member of Parliament left a goodwill message to the people on this special occasion which writes;
"The sighting of the crescent moon marks the end of ramadan - a month-long devotion, reflection and reconciliation.
As I join you today in Nakpayili to commemorate Eid-ul-Fitr, I use this opportunity to convey my warmest wishes to all Muslims who are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr and marking the end of Ramadan across the breath and length of the constituency. I hope you’re able to enjoy this time of celebration.
I also want to use this opportunity to invite you to use this time of self-dedication and holiness to pray for mother Ghana to come out of the current economic hardships.
No matter our current situation, we must continue to hope and strive for greater honours and glory for ourselves. We have so many plans to be unfolding very soon to give our beloved constituency a face-lift.
I pledge to support any course that intends raising the status quo of the constituency. I will also offer myself for any course which brings progress to the doorsteps of our beloved constituency. Collectively, we can consolidate our genuine efforts and chart the path of progress together..
