The condition is said to be a brain disorder that occurs before or during childbirth. When enough oxygen is not well pumped into the brain at that moment, this may result in developmental delay.
Abdul Mateen as his Father calls him has swallowing challenge, which makes it difficult to swallow solid foods. He is therefore on liquid based foods.
Dietitians and Doctors at the Hospital suggested highly nutritious food for Abdul Mateen who's growth is compromised. This recommended food is required every month to sustain him until future recommended surgeries.
