In line with its mission of Powering a Sustainable Future with Clean Energy, Kasi Energy has once again demonstrated its dedication to environmental sustainability through a community tree planting exercise in Nanton Zuo, within the Tamale Metropolitan Area, held last Saturday.
Under the theme “Recycling for Energy and Climate Green Homes and Businesses,” the initiative aimed to inspire climate action, promote recycling, and encourage the adoption of clean energy practices across homes and enterprises.
The seedlings donated and planted by Kasi Energy symbolize hope, renewal, and the shared responsibility of safeguarding the environment for future generations. The company believes that creating green spaces complements the transition to renewable energy both working together to reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, and enhance community resilience.
Speaking at the event, a Kasi Energy representative emphasized that real change begins at the grassroots level:
“Every small action matters, from recycling waste and saving energy to planting a single tree. Together, these efforts create sustainable homes, strong businesses, and a greener climate for all.”
Community members and youth volunteers participated enthusiastically, ensuring each seedling was properly planted and watered, a gesture that reflects hope for a cleaner, greener future in Nanton Zuo and beyond.
Kasi Energy continues to empower individuals, organizations, and policymakers to champion clean energy, energy efficiency, and climate-smart living, proving that sustainability is achievable when everyone plays a part.
