The Regent of Bimbilla, HRH Nyelingboligu Naa Yakubu Andani, has extended a significant gesture of support to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in the Bimbilla Municipality with the donation of three brand-new desktop computers.
The donation, presented on Tuesday, November 25th to the Bimbilla Fire Station in the Northern Region, is aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency, strengthening record management, and boosting the overall operational capabilities of the Fire Service.
Speaking during the presentation, the Regent emphasized the importance of equipping public institutions with the necessary tools to deliver quality services. He noted that the GNFS plays a vital role in safeguarding lives and property, and must therefore be supported to operate effectively.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Chief Fire Officer, the Municipal Fire Command, and the Regional Command, ADO I Idrisu Abdul Karim, the Municipal Operations Officer, expressed profound gratitude to the Regent. He assured that the computers would be put to proper use to improve workflow and documentation within the station.
He further described the donation as timely, highlighting its importance to improving administrative duties, incident reporting, and data storage at the Municipal Fire Station.
The Ghana National Fire Service continues to advocate for support from stakeholders to enhance firefighting and emergency response operations across the country. The Regent’s gesture adds to ongoing efforts to strengthen essential services in the Bimbilla Municipality.
