In a demonstration of solidarity and respect for the customs and traditions of Dagbon, Hon. Salifu Saeed, Political Advisor to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has presented a substantial donation on behalf of H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to the Palace of Yaa Naa Abukari II.
The donation is in support of the Regent Installation, scheduled for Friday, 31st July 2026, and reflects a commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditional leadership of the Dagbon Kingdom.
Items Donated
The package presented to the palace includes:
- 20 bags of maize
- 20 bags of rice
- 10 large gallons of cooking oil
- 1 bull
- Cash donation of GH¢20,000
The contribution is expected to assist in preparations for the important traditional ceremony and support the successful organization of the event.
