As part of the president address to the Nation on measures taken against the spread of Coronavirus, he stated categorically that Muslims are entreated to pray at home in responds to the Holy month of Ramadan just as Christians silently observed Easter this year.
This Statement was backed up by the president with Hadiths (Sayings of Prophet Muhammad) to ensure the Muslim body understand to the home prayers.
He also stated that this decision was endorsed along a discussion with the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Shaributu
