Wulensi: The Smoking of Cannabis has become a Household Enterprise - Mr Mohammed Lawawudeen

What type of future leaders do We want for our esteemed Nanung, considering the posture of our relatives who are so addicted to smoking : became the daunting question mark, hanging on the lips of a teacher in his early 30s, from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The young graduate took to his Facebook Wall to bemoan the incessant rate of marijuana smoking closely connected to the teeming youth in Wulensi.

Mr. Mohammed Luwawudeen narrates that, the smoking of cannabis has become a household enterprise for teenagers yet parents seemingly appears in doing nothing about it.

The teacher explains that, his house is just a stone throw away from the ghettos that imbibe them with this 'skills.' Adding that, the slum that is directly connected to his house in Nayili Kuro Electoral Area, is basically limited in training ten years children to acquire some tutorials in smoking after which they are been promoted to other levels. These ghettos are popularly called an 'academy.' He explains that, 'Top Corner' is a popular night club mostly patronized by these smokers on market days.

"The saddest part is that, most of the pupils We teach at schools are excited in copying those illicit behaviors of theirs. Teenage pregnancies coupled with internet fraud aka 'Sakawa' are all on the rise yet stakeholders remained adamant about it." Mr. Luwawudeen stated.

Meanwhile, the Assembly Member Mr. Yahaya Ziblila confirmed the narrative to Nanung Media after inviting all hands on desk to jointly unify their forces in combating that canker.

Wulensi, a capital of Nanumba South, located along the Eastern Corridor with a population of 106,374 residents, received several congratulatory messages under the kingship of the late Naa Salifu Wumbei after all entertainment activities in his era were banned from public display.
