Hon. Musah Abdul Rashid Strengthens Global Ties for Nanumba South at U.S.-Ghana Trade Forum

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nanumba South, Honourable Musah Abdul Rashid, joined the African American Mayors USA Trade Mission to Ghana held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel under the theme “Building Trade Relationships.”

The event brought together mayors from Ghana and African American mayors from the United States to explore ways of strengthening partnerships and attracting investments that can drive development at the local level.

It was a remarkable opportunity to showcase the district’s potential and connect with visionary leaders who share a strong commitment to growth, collaboration, and lasting impact.

Our District Chief Executive had a productive engagement with Mr. Keith R. Sydnor, Mayor of the City of Laurel, Maryland (USA), discussing avenues to strengthen partnerships and attract investments that can transform the Nanumba South District.

During a business matchmaking session, Hon. Musah Abdul Rashid also interacted with Ms. Bianca Motley Broom, Mayor from the State of Georgia, USA, focusing on enhancing agriculture and education in Nanumba South.

This engagement marks another milestone in our district’s efforts to build meaningful international partnerships that create real opportunities and sustainable progress for our people.
