The Nanumba South District Assembly (NSDA), under the leadership of Hon. Musah Abdul-Rashid, continues to make remarkable strides in improving infrastructure and essential services across the district through numerous ongoing and completed development projects.
The Assembly’s interventions cut across critical sectors including education, health, water and sanitation, agriculture, roads, governance, and social protection, with the aim of improving the quality of life of residents and promoting sustainable development.
Investing in Education Infrastructure
Education remains one of the district's top priorities. Several school projects have been completed and others are progressing steadily across communities.
The Assembly has completed the construction and furnishing of school blocks at communities including Jimoni, Tinageria, Nakpayili, Lahitor, Wanguldo and Kpayanse. Major investments are also ongoing at Nakpayili SHS, including the construction of dormitories, an administration and library block, a dining hall with kitchen facilities, staff accommodation and a multipurpose assembly hall.
To support girl-child education and improve school attendance, sanitary pads have also been distributed to schoolgirls across the district.
Expanding Access to Healthcare
