Nakpayili Delegation Engages DCE on Completion of Community Day Senior High School

A delegation from the Dachamba Traditional Area, representing the Regent of Nakpayili, has paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nanumba South, Honourable Abdul Rashid Musah.

The delegation was led by Dibsi Gbungbalga Lana, Dibsi Mob-Naa, the Assembly Member for Nakpayili Electoral Area, Hon. Abdul Wahab, the Assembly Member for Binda Electoral Area, Hon. Seidu Mohammed Iddrisu, and a representative of the Nakpayili Development Forum (NDF), Mr. Alhassan Shei.

The purpose of the visit was to commend the DCE for his dedication towards the completion of the Community Day Senior High School project at Nakpayili. Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Abdul Wahab stressed the importance of fast-tracking all necessary processes for the official commissioning of the school. He also called for the operational model of the institution to be tailored to meet the educational needs of the Nakpayili community.

The delegation further drew the DCE’s attention to other urgent community needs, including the renovation of schools and market stalls, improved water supply to the local health center, and the provision of an additional transformer to stabilize electricity in the area.

In his response, Honourable Abdul Rashid Musah reassured the traditional leaders of steady progress towards the school’s completion and pledged that the final decision on its model—whether Senior High Technical, Girls’ Model, or subject-biased—would be communicated to the Regent and elders of Nakpayili.

The visit reflected the strong collaboration between traditional authorities and the District Assembly in advancing development in Nakpayili.
